Description
From Pian dei Spadovai (1075m) reachable by car from Dogna via the provincial road. Take path CAI
(Umberto Pacifico) along a forest road that runs alongside the Dogna torrent, reaching the Sella Somdo gna (1397m) from which you will shortly arrive at the Grego refuge.
From the Sella you can reach the Battaglione Gemona bivouac in the historic Bucintoro village from which you will reach the summit of Jòf di Miezegnot in about 30 minutes.
The itinerary offers a splendid panorama of the northern faces of Montasio and the western slopes of Jòf Fuart and Nabois, we are in fact in the heart of the Julian Alps.
